at least with that kind of pressure

most of the time i go up looking for a reset or an airdribble and i have to frontflip it past a challenging defender and settle for a double tap

you need to get a bit more creative with your setups (i.e. leave the wall alone) or just pick your moments

Guys what do I do?

I have spent hours and hours researching how to become better at rocket league, and to get out of platinum, and nothing has helped. I even got a coaching session, but that didnt really make me improve that much either. I do everything I can and interpret all the tips people give me, yet I cant get out of plat 1, meanwhile some random children can just pick up their controller and get to diamond with the scarab. What is it that im missing?

Tbh there Isn’t really much you can do if they challenge the ball in that position

In general you just shouldn’t go for a reset if they challenging tbh unless you are like right behind the ball or clearly beating them

honestly just try and learn how to read challenges, a great way to score is to angle your car as if you are gonna reset and then to just continue the air dribble over them once they challenge, if you do that once or twice they'll then start respecting you and bam you get free resets which should be a goal
