not both of them, but it helps to have one binded. (Let's take air roll left as an example.)

OK a speed flip is a diagonal flip cancel.
To diagonal flip you can press left and forward or air roll left and forward.

If I press normal left and forward it can mess me up as I can no longer go in a straight line and it can be slower.

If I use air roll left, I can still move in a straight line and will turn as soon as I go airborn making it faster.

Learn to place the ball on target with some height. Also be patient and let the opponent give you the ball. Just doing this should get you out of gold

I may still be wrong, but I'm really talking about air dribbling effectively. In other words, being able to consistently make it harder to save than just a shot off the wall.

I REALLY doubt that even Plat 3s can consistently curve a shot into the too half of the net or change direction while airdribbling.

Should have clarified more. I don't have any interest in freestyling, so to me, airdribbling is completely pointless if it doesn't complicate the save for the defender.

i was high 1700 very early in the season and facing hella pros and blue tags and SSLs at the time

but i was getting mad lucky tbh ive never long term peaked ever again in my life

even after my rank settled i was doing well against 1800s, low 1900 was the limit of what i could actually play against because i lack experience of those high ranks and how they move its just, the skill gap between a gc3 and a SSL is pretty insane its not even funny

they know a gc player inside and out and even when they dont, they have the mechaniucal ability to make up for those mistakes and still outplay
