In plat I wouldn't say you really need specific coaching yet. One of the biggest issues in the rank is consistency in basics. Getting good clears. Spacing from your teammates - Especially in 2s (Think of the pitch as a 3x3 grid and try to stay in an adjacent square). Shooting on target with reasonable power. Strong recoveries too.

The other side is the mentality. Everyone in that rank will make mistakes, even you. Be forgiving to teammates. Trust in what they're trying to do, but also be prepared for worst case. Take the highest percentage plays regularly (By this I mean: if there's a simple shot that might get saved but you're unlikely to mess it up, give it a go anyway. Worst case they save it, best case the opponent makes a mistake. Its better than giving the ball away for nothing)

Almost anything helps so if your first just jump for the ball if you cant, bump and rotate, 2nd man, be aware of where your tm8's are and space yourself accordingly and if your 3rd. don't go till someone is behind you. in 2s it may help to swing i little wider in your rotations. timing when i get to the play is a thing, your goal should be to always keep momentum and be where your supposed to be at all times so think about when you should be reaching the ball and how you can time it affectively.(swing a little wider on rotations or have tighter rotations)
