@vocal pagoda Personally I woulda gone for a catch into a flick or a low 50 from there, but yeah that first touch always gotta be a catch there cuz opponent is low boost so if you keep it close then hit it high in the net he’s gonna be awkward and you get pressure (hope this helps:))

also most people can't make a good aerial shot in ranks below at least d1-2 so chances are after the flick they don't know what to do

Learn to dribble without boost and change directions to where ever you want and then dont dribble straight at the goal but at an angle..

Squishy muffinz road to ssl 1v1 isna good example he will do that around diamond or champ level. Obviously that means you need to improve a lot before being able to do this effectively
