I’m trying to improve and get to 1600 by the end of the summer and I’m 1450 rn. How many hours a day would I need to play and how many of those hours would need to be training

But if u wanna be on a quite sage path and get plus 150mmr in 45 days then maybe about 4-5 hours a day spent on playing rl and focusing on playing well/ improving and mayve 30 minutes to 1 hour of watching content on yoututbe to improve. Thats not a minimum amount but if u train right u should be able to get gc2 and 1600 with those 200something hours. Depends on how efficiently u train and play though

I only cut if i can advance the play faster than my m8 cause he had an awkward touch or 50 or when we are on defense after i failed a solo play to force the ball

if your gameplay is the same that's the problem people get better with each season and if your unable to improve at a certain rate you will drop. the good news tho is that rocket league is a game where when you think youve gotten some skill down enough you can watch back and see that in actuality you can improve it further.

i can guarantee non of your mechs are perfect yet so try and focus on one and get it solid once its solid continue to practice it but try to make another mech solid and keep this pattern up. i would say the main mechs to focus on would be shooting, shooting accuracy, basic recovery mechs such as half flips and wave dashes, focus on learning speed flips if you haven't yet and if you have try to make them better, however most importantly of all is you can have all the mechs in the world but if you dont know when to use them you will not make it nearly as far as you could if you used them when you should, so learn the mechs train them well and make sure to learn when is the right time to use certain ones

Yo is learning directional air roll like mandatory. And if I do, when will I ever use it?

not mandatory but most would suggest it

base airroll is mandatory but not for the sense of mechs but because of the angles you can shoot when you use the normal airroll in comparision, this one is a harsh truth ive had to learn in he past week as ive only used directional up to this point

from what a lot of my more mechy friend said is that they use directional for airdribbles and such but then base airroll is used for things like landing smoother or aiming the ball when its a tighter angle
