the first thing about learning a skill in rocket league is learning how to do it the next thing is to learn when to do it rather than trying to force it. airdribbles waste a lot of boost for what you get in return so you have to make sure your using them at the right time not to mention they can put you in bad spots if your recovers suck.

depends the common binds ive seen are A where you do L1 as airroll and drift r1 as boost and then square and circle as airroll left and right and the other common bind i see is L1 as airroll left, r1 as boost, square as drift, circle as airroll right and then regular airoll on l2

For a gold player. U really can't follow traditional rotations. Just let ur teammates ball chase and stay at a good distance where ur not too far from the play or too close and wait for either opponents to hit the ball to you or for a 50 to happen

But like majority of the time just let ur teammate do whatever he wants

I would say learning to read your opponents as its one of the easier ways to get out and continues to be important as you go up. I see to many c3's who simply toss the ball into the opponent rather than controlling the ball or booming it into a spot where the opponents will have a hard time reaching, when you learn to read your opponents you will realize that you have more time than you thought to do things and when they do rush you all you have to do is either flick it over them or play for the 50

also always remember that you may think you have certain skills down but there is always a level above that for instance a lot of people claim their ground game is good but then when you ask them to play dribble course 2 they struggle on it when its an easy map, as long as you remember there is always room to improve on what you currently can do you certainly will get better

im not champ but ive been told i have gc mechs if it means anything, and honestly it depends on what type of mech route your tryna take if ur just tryna clip on pple (like me) then you just grind a buncha freestyle mechs but if ur tryna go the lethamyr route and get just good enough mechs to get good touches and occasionally score a decent flip reset just grind workshop maps and kepvert training packs.

speed flips are hard to give tips for since everyone messed up on diffrent things for instance i have the flip cancel timing perfect and same with jump timing however i consistently hit 45 degree angle when you want to be closer to 30, if you on pc there is a plug in to see how your messing up but if not you kinda have to watch tutorials and try to figure out where your going wrong.

the one thing i can say is when doing the flip cancel make sure the stick is pointed straight down

Plat: get better at defending and mastering stuff you learned in gold. Honestly stop trying to aerial for every ball, use your judgement to decide if you should aerial or not. Learn backpost rotations and hitting the ball off backboard. Should be said that dont go for air dribbles or ceiling shots idc if you are consistent with them. Playing smart and reading the play will allow you to rank up

I goto training every few games to work on things I screwed up during the plays

a good 10~30 min for myself

chase the ball up the wall, break, then jump and chase the ball, dodge it at the last second (expose tires to ball) hit dead center of your car to get the reset. practice in 85% game speed to get the hard part down if you struggle

there are many ways to do resets, that's just how I started learning them at first so I could understand the controls to actually get a reset on the fly

slow motion is really helpful for taking your time to understand the movements needed to get the resets aswell as shoot them, if it's not your fancy then just gotta brute force it, also just jumping on the ball while it's rolling to get a reset is a good way to train yourself to get them more often

if your opponents can block resets, don't go for them constantly, you need to catch them off guard

if you repeat the same attack, they always know what your going to do next

goto a training pack that's for air dribbles or one you like, and just practice hitting the ball off the wall, use your double jump and no boost and just pay attention to how you follow the ball, once you get it good enough you always follow the ball, then use your boost to control the ball by "booping it" up over and over again, learning control to go left or right or even get a reset is all just advanced versions.
