Yeah, stay open to your teammate so they are able to pass it to you. When on offense, you don't want to push into their corner, generally stay away from it and keep the ball away from it. Don't be on the same side because if you are following your teammate when he has the ball the enemy has better vision on you and you create a weak side on the field. Also when waiting for that mid pass or just waiting for your teammate to make a play, always stay behind the mid line or around it.

On defense, always remember to be patient. shadow. If your teammate is in the net or on the floor, that means you go up the backboard and you cover the high shot. When there is a ball that bounced off the backboard, you must immediately challenge it UNLESS you see that the opponents are not near you. When the ball is in your corner, be patient, if they're rolling it up the wall, remember to MATCH the balls height or be above it. When your teammate is in the corner waiting for the ball, you should rotate INTO the net and look around so you have vision on where their 2nd man is and so you can cut off the pass. Don't follow your teammate in your corner. We want to cover as much space as possible on defense. Another thing when you're on defense, you always want to hover with the ball when the opponent is creating an air attack. Pre jumping is smart but when you do, make sure your momentum is going towards the net so you get a better 50/50.

Those tips should help anyone improve on positioning

Hey Pro's of RL . I need some help . I am pretty much hard stuck Diamond 2 div4 to D3 div4 . Trying to hit champs badly but with partner even same level as me i can win games easy but i really play bad if there's a ball chaser on my team who isnt even that good and i feel lost and weird while playing . I know blaming teammate is bad but i know my mistakes and always make sure to hold myself accountable but i lose every game when there's a teammate who refuses to work with me or lets easy goals in , even when i try my best , i cannot rely on my teammates and they save maybe 1 out of 10 goals .
