Think about it. If you're playing d1, your TM is d1 and your opposition is D1. They will be throwing away the ball at equal amounts. If you're C1 let's say, the average of your team is higher than the average of the other team, and so you'd be better and do better, because the opposition are making twice as many mistakes as you are. So you're not ranking up. There's your issue, you're much better than tms.

Neither will your tm. And if you play it correctly shooting the ball away isnt always the worst play as it measn you can start to apply pressure. If you don't apply pressure then yes it is just passing it away

It may not be the optimal play, but if you adapt correctly to it rather than just sighing, complaining and waiting for the oppo to start an attack because your teammate gave away the ball, then that's when it's bad, because you've effectlively made yourself a sitting duck

If I’m being completely honest with you. It’s training the basics. You should be extremely comfortable with ground play, aerial play should be comfortable, your gamesense of when to challenge what situations you should do what etc. fundamentals will help the most. Even if you think you’re good it helps you have less awkward game situations. If you find yourself awkward in the corner a lot, practice that situation in training, if it’s backwall then use training to become comfortable, etc
