How to get out of being hardstuck in plat

Step: 1

Start playing more solos
Playing more solos would allow you to focus up on 1. Where the ball is going 2. When your opponent is, and 3. Your position.
Playing more solos gets you better at gamesense which is why a-lot of people play it when they get higher ranks

Step 2:

Look at your surroundings
being aware of your surroundings allows you to fully expand and see if your in the best position to hit the ball heres an example

Example:
The ball is on the mid right of your opponents goal, your teammate is heading to it and it looks like its an open shot. You decide to rotate around so if your teammate misses the shot you have an easy goal in. There is only one defender and the other defender is on your side getting boost. Your teammate shoots the ball and it bounces off the wall having the last defender fly out of goal leaving an open net. You shoot it in and make the shot.

Solo queue ranked, 2s and 1s. Figure out the difference between playing to improve and going for highest rank sort-term. Also freeplay, and training packs for things you can't easily practice in freeplay.

You can play with GC+ players to get ideas on how to improve.

There's also coaching of course, like replay analysis, or you can do it for yourself.

chances are low that its just your teammate, if this happens that often it would also accure that much with your opponents, so try learning how to play around mates that are not that good, if u just blame your mate and think thats the issue and nothing else u will be hardstuck at one point, if mistakes happen see what u could do to prevent the sit from happening, if u see him going even tho u have the better position leave it for him, better then double commit, dont leave him alone, etc. there are many things someone can do, just play more passiv and go for good powershots on target, they cant rlly fly that well in that elo especially backwards so should be fine

yh the thing is the playstyle is very diffrent, for instance in gold i wouldnt go much for good dribbles and fancy stuff, rather to good powershots on target, they tend to chase or be a goaly, so when they chase and u get good powershots out of multiple positions u will have free shots, usually also in that elo they are easy to read, there is the chaser or the passiv guy, the higher u get the more these stereo types shift

as i said, learn how toi play around your mate, if u say your teammate always goes for ball let him chase and be more defensive, even shots were u have the better angle and he goes there u let him, as i said better then double commit, dont force your playstyle, if u do that your teammate gets triggerd and trolls or go afk, rather go for good powershots, dont let your teammate alone (dont go for risky stuff) etc. there are maaany things, does it make that much fun? no, does it help ranking up? absolutly

just restating something I saw in a video: there was a survey done by spookluke I think and it showed that people who are more game-sense oriented will progress through the lower ranks a lot faster but their lack of mechanics will get them once they hit gc 2 or 3, they will have to start grinding mechanics to rank up. People who spend a lot more time on mechanics usually struggle through the lower ranks but then shoot through the higher ranks so it depends how you want to play the game. If you don't really have any intention of going SSL or beyond then maybe game-sense is a better path for you. If you do want to get to SSL maybe even pro than mechanics will help. A mix of both does seem like it should be the best option though.
