If you are solo queueing, I'd say to learn boost management. Learn to keep your speed without spending much boost and start getting small pads instead of always going to big pads

Maybe u are wasting boost. Watch your replays and look out for "Oh, I missed that line of pads" or "I had time to rotate backpost and get this" and "I didnt have to boost here, could've simply wave dash"

as for tm8s. That's something you'll have to deal with even in gc2 or even higher. Egos are annoying but it is what it is, we gotta adapt. If you see that your tm8 is going for everything, let them be and play a bit more reserved

you can either go off the ceiling or get a reset off the ball. any sort of jump will cause you to lose it after like a second. if you aren't getting the reset check how the bottom of your car is touching the ball.
