try rotating more around the small pads, this makes u stay more in rotation and u can help your mate out pretty good, try not to play too risky (dont flick too much in the corners for example rather try jumping 1 time and fousing on the landing in order to stay more in rotation), play more 1s (sometimes u get in those 1v1 and 2v1, its good to know what to do then aswell as improving many other things like kick offs, shadow defense etc.), try getting better to adapting, if u pass rather try focusing on safe passes so u stay in rotation otherwise your teammate cant go for it or he gets beaten and no one is behind, just some examples @low ingot

Find a spot to shoot where its awkward for them to save like behind them or try outplay them before shooting

Short term achievements rather than long term goals. SSL for most is a long term reward so a seasonal badge or 30 second clips become a easier achievement. You could use the short term achievements to maybe "cash-in" on the opportunity to play next to a higher rank without much effort. I also played organized sports as a kid so I am a team player which could hinder me at times in most RL rankings.
