Before you go to work on the flashy stuff, learn the basics. Go into freeplay and drill what you’re learning. For example, learn ceiling shots before you learn an air dribble, before you learn a reset. If you learn the shots out of order it can really mess up your base, like if a tall building had a really small bottom and huge top, it would fall over quickly.

since u have alrd hit diamond I would reccomend u start levelin up mechanically nothing special maybe getting decent air dribbles and working on getting good air control a few other things is ball control just trying to keep the ball close to u when ur first man and getting good 50s and getting better at backboard/wall reads those will help a lot also being able to read just bounces period will help u along with many other things along with powershots etc but u said ur alrd working on those also try to get better at utilizing ur space because in those ranks if u get good with ur space u can glide through them so getting better in 1v1 situations will def help and getting better at basic flicks and playing better defense if u can get good and consistent 50s and challenges u can prob get high champ

Joining a big team like a Pulse or Nytro will take a lot of time. Something that helped me improve was getting inspiration from other freestylers. What I would do is watch some freestyle shots from players like Tx, Jakze, Maktuf, etc. and try to replicate what they did. Over time I became a lot better with my car control and mechanics

repitition is key so literally go to freeplay and smack the ball around. preferably the faster the better and the less time in between touching the ball is best. literally you'll be chasing it around for minutes at a time just teaching your brain how to move and touch balls

I know "how" (not great at it by any means) but the thing I struggle with is that I feel like getting a dribble started takes so much time that even a below-average player can just run straight into the ball and I'll lose possession. I feel like I'm stuck making super long shots and clearing the ball every time because it works more consistently.
