Learn mechanics. I don't mean air dribbles or such but fundamental mechanics. Examples are wavedashes (off any surface), half flips, how to 50 properly, how to get to supersonic quickly and such.

Bit of a 2s and 3s only tip, but you don't need to go for a ball in any corner where a tm8 is. This is a problem even in Champ lobbies.

Watch your replays and try to learn how to read what your tm8s and opponents want to do. Try think about where they are and where (for example) a 50-50 can go based on their positions then try cover the worst options
Also, being mechanical is fine, as is grinding those mechanics, but don't think they are good because of the mechanics. Stuff like flip resets and air dribbles are so dangerous because high level players can control the ball despite being airborne
I have a mate who can't air dribble or flip reset and doesn't fast aerial if he can single jump and get to the ball in time to flip into it. He is Champ 1 and is firmly there
Lastly, know what you can do and what you can't. Be confident in yourself, but don't be overconfident. People peak when they feel like they are playing well, but your floor is what is going to determine your actual rank, not your peak.

Yo can anyone give me tips on what i should do to get c2 back? Im a low champ 1 and my peak rank was high c2 last season but mostly my teammates are just holding me back,yes i know im being 'cocky' but really my teammates are so bad that i cant rank up.My rotations are good,my defense is good,my comms are good but my shooting is kinda mid.
My teammates are 80% toxic i cant even find one guy that wont leave after 1-2 goals are scored.
So really 80% of the time i get bad teammates and that is just so bad that i cant rank up at all bruh
Can anyone give me any advices on what i should do?
