one important tip is to not care too much about the regular ranks of your opponents even if they are triple ssls, you can beat them in snowday even if you are champ in regular modes, but you need a good game sense and to not go for risky things

You're welcome. Also try as straight up from the wall at first. Don't try and actually fly fast at the opponents net first. Only practice a consistent reset first. Scoring will come later.

Getting the result diagonally on the ball is also better most the time, when you get it directly under you have to correct your position and wait for the ball separation. But when you get them diagonally you can normally flip into it right away

some settings probably are just better, like if you have dars bound and someone else doesn't, you just have superior controls objectively (assuming you can press everything fine. If his controls are so wonky he can't press boost and jump at the same time cus he has small hands, his controls don't fit him. So you can still give him advice on his controls

I play most games off the enemies hit, if my teammate passes, I don't go for it, I wait and read the enemies angle and then take that shot. I would like to reach champ eventually. I have 3 days and 10 hours in the game but I learn fast and am open to all and any criticism. I will listen to your feedback.
