Playing smart and reading the play will allow you to rank up

Tbh u need to be a certain distance away from the ball as a setup so when u flip ur car can scoop the ball in a way and get power on it but try watching yt if it helps to see Exaclty

Practise the musty in half speed and slowly up the speed it will teach u where the posision the ball should be on the car and the timing of the flick

There is no magic potion to it. The reason you don't reach gc1 is because of: You don't play with a teammate which is your same skill level or above. you don't adapt to your random teammate in soloq, instead you play as you normally play and most important, your car/ball/air control is not consistent enough. fix those things and voilà.. gc1

adapting means being able to handle their mess, because let's be real, if most mates can't defend or give the ball away, then you are simply being naive if you believe playing without adapting will help. i did soloQ since forever and got to gc2
