ive ran into a fair amount of high diamonds that have hit consistent doubles, and here recently some mustys paired with flip resets

but at the same time, theres a reason theyre only diamond

the main reason low gcs are inconsistent is because the speed increases (flow of gameplay) so in order to get higher u need to get comfortable in that speed

but take me for example i cant air dribble aty all XD my mechanics are plat level

i definitly feel like i deserve D3 and C1, and ive proven that by getting to C1. now i just want to work on some things personally to make the push a bit easier

i cant say much, i catch myself doing it too, but i try to stay aware of that as best as possible

i think my defense is the biggest thing that seperates me from other diamonds. i dont wait for the ball everytime and know how to shadow. I can follow corner bounces to get them at least to mid, and im able to play time well enough for my teammate to reposition

even just managing your boost would put u in c2 catagory, gameplay is so slow at that level that u can always be above 50 if you wanted to be

To improve in offense you gotta be more accurate and powerful. Practicing powershots can do that. All the fancy mechs isnt necessary. Most of the goals is gonna be from that

you work on them one by one
and combine them to get a good air dribble that you can clear the ball with, take a 50, fake your opponent, setup a double tap, or just shoot
there is a lot of good ways to use the air dribble

but u need to be good at it before taking it ingame
so you don't concede more goals and lose your rank

playing faster isn't necessarily an issue if you're positioned properly. Its nothing to do with how much you play. Try learning circular rotations if you're having trouble keeping up in your lobbies

learn the diagonal flip and maybe learn not to overcommit as last man

Pay attention to players on your team and the other team

the last thing you need to pay attention to is the ball if you have mechs

I know for certain Musty helps people out in his discord

Sure he doesn't do it a lot but he tends to throw on a voice changer every now and again and sneak in to play with some people and teach them

Just use whatever feels comfortable to you. Drufinho was top 8 at the last winter major iirc

Diamond: Stop tilt queueing, give your teammate space, get better at punishing your opponents. This can be done with good shooting and reads. Starting defending off backboard and get better at doing it. See the enemy up high, go backboard. Get better at basic aerials and wall touches as these can be vital. Get better at offense without sacrificing defense

for offense try high shots above the net, usually when both are more chasy no one is at the backboard or in a good defensive rotation, when he gets the ball somehow u rotate, when he misses u can get an easy goal, its usally a very safe method to score without letting your m8 alone. for defense: if they are more chasy try also to be, ik it sounds weird but usually these people cant react very good to it as usually when people chase the opponents are more passiv, thats why they cant deal that good with it, at least from my experience, but ofc every opponent is diffrent and these are just things u can try
