Don't blame on your tm8s just counter with them if they are food on offense but not good on defense be defense and the same with the opposite

dont just focus on mechanics or dont just focus on game sense, work both equally so you are a well rounded player, and for plat2 the mechanics you should work on are dribbles and bounce dribbles and flicks, as well as learning to fast airiel and hit the ball hard

just get comfortable with the way your car moves along with recoveries and a bit of boost management
