Carol can leave out through the top of the second boss' arena in Snowfields by wall jumping and either rolling or pouncing up the sides, allowing her to get totally out of bounds and view an off-screen object that emits a white ring. May be possible with other characters using the Super Feather potion.

The off screen object is actually the star card. I got it as Lilac using her wing mod and got an S rank without even touching the boss, lol. Said boss is going crazy in the background fighting nothing.

It's obtainable as Carol without any movement buffs, but it's HARD to get.
Scratch that, it's actually ridiculously easy to get. Lol. All you have to do is wall jump off the top of the wall then pounce into it. Even got the speed runner achievement.
