It can be done normally if you're running backwards on a slope at high speeds.
It exist ever since the sample version.
But lilac moonwalking while on flat floor from a stand still, that's new.

huh. I wonder how you were able to activate it. I found another way too moonwalk. However this one appears to not trigger lilac's moonwalk animation
What I did to trigger that one is to simply press left, and as you do so also press right.
This basically will cause your character to move to a certain speed while also facing the wrong way
