level gap isn't really a thing past like, 40ish

you have to do your expedition level up missions to raise the world's level and the story can be done by 40-50s

just slap a set of purple gear on your main four and you're good to finish wuling, then you can clean up side missions, cap every mineral node, and build up your base to suck out your outposts

and work on yellow gear

operators that were infected with oripathy are able to be cloned but the clones do not retain memories even if they have their skills

because endfield was so fucking stupid that their initial incursion squad was all fucking pencil pushers when the gate suddenly closed they were left without a fighting force

so your entire fighting force consists of reconveners

iirc the only real characters ignoring the side npcs are like
