you just have lots of free damage
its pretty hard to get in sortie because you NEED those 2 cards to combo
and its hard to get dupe cards
so you might only get 1 sword rain
because you gotta keep in mind, sword rain is a way to generate effulgent blades
if you change it to the activate graveyard one, you have no way to generate effulgent blades besides the effulgent expansion
and what if you dont get that exact one

sortie is good because it means the devs can really make some insane mechanics without it affecting the balance too much

another downside to playing effulgent blades from grave is you can only focus one target, all the oher effulgent blade builds hit your intended target and then random targets after that one is dead
