probably twofold issue, outside of the biggest of whales, very few were probably using the selective banner as why wouldn't you use those tickets on new banners. as well as the fact that they do just rly seem to want to increase monetization across the board with the gacha skin, so what other way to increase monetization than to reduce normal pulls and put something worse in its place
