I worked hard on my run and then this showed up after i collapsed my run.. whyyy i just wanted to move up from my spot 
How do i make sure this doesnt happen againnnn!! 
I had my run going for about an hour and uh thats about it, i dont really have much detail because i was literally just playing the game and upgrading

it couldve happened because your run was happening during steams outage, or there could be something else but ill have the dev look into it just in case

This seems to happen everysingle time for me (about 10runs now) when i keep a run going for about an hour, Maybe something to do with "elapsed time?" not really sure but sure is annoying.
To clarify my run was going while losing connection to steam but all the runs from then seem to just be dead now 😿
