Ok this has been driving me insane wasted so much time and actually money too…

Issue on win 11 both my WiFi and Ethernet keep loosing connectivity, WiFi connection doesn’t drop but about every 3 to 5 seconds any online activity I have gets disrupted. If I have a browser download it stops, if I’m connecting to a game I get a network error, if I run a internet speed test it cuts off and all the jazz that goes with connectivity issue.

I lost my mind changing windows setting on my initial motherboard (gigabyte b850 eagle) and thought motherboard must have an issue, bought and installed asus x870 WiFi and surprise surprise same issue. In my desperation I setup windows 10 and all of a sudden no connectivity issues.

Naturally I’m only able to use Ethernet right now since it looks like asus didn’t bother making windows 10 WiFi driver.

So while I’d have no issue using windows 10 there are bunch of drivers I can not update as well as I’m sure I’m going to run into issues with certain new game titles and software.

Has anyone ever ran into to this issue? Found a solution?

Did you install the drivers provided on the website when you finished the windows 11 install?

#

Did you use Intel utility assistant and went through all installs? Windows updates?

#

Id slow down and carefully make sure you didn't miss anything.

Ok so on my first gigabyte mother board i did a reinstall by not deleting personal files
2nd install, I did a complete wipe and install and downloaded drivers first from device manager and then from gigabyte web page for most up to date drivers.
3rd install, co plate wipe and reinstall, I thought maybe drivers had corrupted files in them due to download interruptions, so I downloaded all the drivers to to a usb stick on my laptop and transferred them to the pc, no go

I contacted gigabyte support for the mobo, followed their stapes which was nothing I have not done but ok did them again,

I had this gut feeling it’s a software issue and not a hardware but still possible, I went ahead and purchased the asus mobo

4th install complete wipe and install with new mobo, same issue.

This has proved to me it’s not a hardware issue since getting 2 mobos from 2 different manufacturers from 2 different segments with the exact same issue is, well probably more likely to win the lottery

I wanted to trash my apartment since no online forums or videos were helping me

I thought about trying another OS while trying to pick what to load I said why not win10 since I already have the bootable usb for that and it worked with the only issue of win10 not having a driver for my onboard WiFi

Not to mention I created a new bootable USB for win after my second try just in case something was wrong with the files
