Microsoft Photos and Copilot Apps Not Opening

Hello,

I am facing an issue on my Windows 10 PC where some built-in Microsoft apps are not opening. When I try to double-click on a photo, Microsoft Photos does not launch at all. Similarly, Microsoft Copilot 365 and Copilot apps also do not open when I click on them — there is no response, no error message, nothing happens.

Things I already tried:
🔨 Reset & Repair from Advanced Options
🔨 Uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Photos and Copilot apps
🔨 Re-registered all apps using PowerShell commands
🔨 Ran sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
🔨 Performed Microsoft Store reset (wsreset.exe)
🔨 Finally, I downloaded the media creation file from the official Windows page and upgraded Windows, but the issue still remained unresolved.
Despite all these attempts, the issue still persists. Other apps on my system work fine, but only these UWP apps fail to launch.

Could anyone please guide me on how to fix this problem?

If you haven't thought of it yet, I'd consider a Windows reinstall at this point as you've tried an IPU already.

I've experienced this from one of my clients, it's a bug that Microsoft is trying to resolve

Only solution right now is ipu/re-install
