this suddenly just happened today. As you can see, everytime i open file explorer my cursor would be stuck in an infinite loop. You might think its a visual glitch but no, i cant click on anything and closing the program would require me to open task manager to force close it. Any help?

No, more than often it's an iffy disk when explorer is malfunctioning - if there are any irreplaceble files you can't lose, transfer them to another disk first

oh thanks, seems like i need to get a new drive. any further solutions i could do?
