Problem:
Recently, i tried splitting a windows partition with Disk genus into 2 partitions, one large and one small (With the OS onto it). Before that, I copied the whole PARTION to a sperate drive. Not creating a image of the disk with the windows boot manager. The splitting resulted in being unable to boot the os, with the error 0xc0000001 error. (For context, this computer was a server of mine.)
Attempted fixes:
I tryed many commands in the command prompt, but now it's no longer working, tryed fixing it with a new installation medium and had errors with that. I am not to sure on what exactly to do now. I still have a copy of the whole C: partition on a sperate drive.

If anyone could point me towards the right wave, it would be great. I'm more worried about the windows installation with win 10 pro than the files, as I already have a safe copy of the data.

Since you have a full copy of the original C: partition on a separate drive and your data is safe, the best thing to do here would be to restore that copy back to the original drive and repair the boot setup.

Boot from a Windows 10 installation USB
Repair your computer > troubleshoot > command prompt and run these following commands in order

  1. bootrec /fixmbr
  2. bootrec /fixboot
  3. bootrec /scanos
  4. bootrec /rebuildcd
