BitLocker Help Needed ASAP!!!

My computer has been encrypted through BitLocker for days and I don’t have the recovery key how do I do a clean reinstall of bypass it? Would I need to buy a USB drive or any extra materials?

u need access to registered microsoft account present on ur pc, it'll generate one time code to unlock bitlocker

That’s the problem, I don’t have access to that account and even though I remember the password it would take a while to change my recovery email on it.

I wouldn’t be able to access my computer until mid July

well, u cant bypass windows bitlocker anyhow

and ur data is encrypted unless u know the key, if u really need to use ur pc until mid of july u can install linux but u still cant access the encrypted data

use it normally just like another linux pc but u will loose ur files ofc

It's in your accounts security dashboard, so you'd either have to type it in or wipe the drive

Okay so how would I do that from the blue screen?

Is it under advanced options?

no, you'd need to boot into the USB and do a regular reinstall
