yeah, a surface pro 3, 2014 can't read bootable USBs anymore. boot loops happen, can get stuck on the OEM logo, or doesn't boot into windows, and disabling secure boot fixes nothing, so I need to go through AMI-BIOS to at least boot into windows. im not as concerned because I got like 8 laptops and the laptops screen is extremely messed up, but I'm curious to see if this surface laptops NVRAM is fixable (or can be flashed)
the reason this laptop got here because it was forced shutdown during a firmware update because the update has no progress bar and rapid fires resets every second looking like the laptop is having a seizure but it's the weird way the firmware updates I guess
