I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my microphone input volume on Windows 11. No matter what I do, the volume slider in the Sound settings keeps snapping back to 31. I can't raise it any higher.

Here's what I've tried so far:

  • Restarted my computer.
  • Checked all microphone connections.

are you using the application by shure for it?

#

because it looks like the microphone has auto leveling, which might cause this AkkoThinking

Maybe if I turn that off?

That did it! I had the Gain locked on that end and it was stuck at 31 in the volume settings.
