#Some apps close by themselves randomly

Hello, good day!
I hope I'm using the forum correctly

I'm writing because I've been having a very curious case for several, many days now, which I can't explain very well why it happens; so for some reason some programs running in the background tend to close by themselves sometimes, other days they're fine but other days this set of programs closes, and I find it curious and it kind of breaks my head that they're always exactly the same ones, it doesn't happen with others... These include:

  • iCue
  • NVidia Broadcast
  • Libre Hardware Monitor
  • PowerToys
  • spacedesk

As I said, I can't explain why these specifically but... They tend to run in the background, and it happens I think very randomly, sometimes it happens right when starting the PC and sometimes it happens while I'm playing something... But I don't know exactly the reason for this

I also seem to remember that this happened to me in the past even before I reset it and reinstalled Windows, but I don't remember very well; I've checked with Malwarebytes to see if there's anything there, but it didn't find anything

Do you think you could help me with this?

These are some details of the components:

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-10700F
  • Graphics: NVidia RTX 2060
  • RAM: 16 GB DDR4
  • Motherboard: ASRock H410M/ac
  • Storage: 2 1TB SSDs

And Windows details:

  • Edition: Windows 11 Pro
  • Version: 24H2
  • Date: 27/‎12/‎2024
  • Build: 26100.3194
  • Experience: 1000.26100.48.0

If you need more details or information, you can say me

Thank you very much, and sorry for the inconvenience or if something is wrong 💙

iCUE is the MSI RGB, Driver or general controller
Nvidia broadcast is software from Nvidia as a part of the Nvidia GeForce Experience package (or whatever they changed the name to)
Libre Hardware Monitor is (i think) of the LibreOffice suite.
PowerToys is of the Microsoft Windows Toolbox
never heard of spacedesk

but what are you looking to do?

Omh, well, the thing is that those apps that are running in the background close by themselves very randomly and I don't want that happen
Do you have any idea? AkkoThinking

Also, just to clarify: iCue is from Corsair that I use for the headphones like with the equalizer; NVidia is an IA noise remover and effects for microphone; Libre Hardware Monitor is to monitor PC temperatures; PowerToys is... Well, that; spacedesk, I use it for using another devices as provitional monitors

Okay okay, no problem, I have time right now :)

Ohh, literally it'll take 1 hour hehe
It's okay, I can let it run the necessary time, can I still use simple tasks like YouTube or Microsoft Edge?

Anyway, it's running now

Hi, I'm really sorry I didn't reply about this issue, but it turns out I ran the tests that night and the results were the same: no issues were found. So I thought it wouldn't be relevant until an error appeared, but with so many things going on with university, I never ended up doing it 🙁

The thing is, just today I was using the PC for quite a while because of homework and now I decided to play Counter-Strike 2, and just as I started it a few minutes later, the same problem occurred again, it just happened now

It's a shame I couldn't find the error. I don't know if there's anything I can do now that it just happened, or if I should just run the OCCT program again, what do you say?

I'm really sorry for the inconvenience 🙏🏻

#

It's a shame also that is so random, to be honest it didn't happen for a lot time until now

Yep, I've done it before, umh... But also I don't want to do it and find out that it still happens despite that, it's boring to install all but maybe if there is nothing more to do I'll have to do it :c
