Hi, I have two versions of teams installed. I even deleted teams and re-installed it but whenever I open the program, it either gives me the newer look with teams integrated within chats or the older look with teams on its separate tab. Usually, when the system starts up, it's the older one that is loaded, I have to close teams (even in system tray) and then it loads up the newest version when I open it from the start menu. It is on my work computer so I do not have admin rights.

check autostart in Task Manager
I think the upper one is actually the newer one
I had the same problem on my work laptop
so there are two versions installed?
deactivate that one and activate the upper one
oh
the one running now is :
yeah it's the upper one
maybe your IT department doesn't allow changing it
I have the Teams Machine-wider installer in my installed apps
that's probably from the IT dept.
and the newer version is user only
that's my guess right now
when I search for teams, I get this:
Microsoft Teams Classic popping up but no icon and when I click on it, nothing happens
looks like tehre is no other version installed but there is
I'm not sure to understand
is this the latest version?
I remember clicking on preview, it might have fucked up things
yeah probably
