Hello everyone,

Since a couple of days a client is facing BSOD/random restarts everyday. She is running the latest Windows 10 version and has received a new Dell 5500 laptop yesterday (with the harddrive transferred from her 3 yr old Dell). This issue was already present with her 3yr old Dell Latitude E5520 (laptop prior to her new one).

We tried Dell updates, Windows updates, sfc /scannow etc but to no avail.

Please dm me for the BSOD dumps

only dumps you shud be uploading is from C:/windows/minidump, nothing else

dell support assist is getting some

Error code: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000417 (3221226519) - An invalid parameter was passed to a C runtime function.

Uninstall said program, using

  • Go here and download it https://www.bcuninstaller.com/
  • Run it
  • Check Highlight Missing Uninstallers
  • Select the programs you want uninstalled
  • Right click on it then Uninstall
  • Follow through the window
  • In the registry page, make sure to select good confidence to Delete
  • Restart pc

bluescreenview isn't for .dmp files, it doesn't do it right..

do not use it

#

so as any bluescreenviewer out there, windbg is the one you shud use

as it is a debugger

using bcu?

cus if not, it usually leaves remnants

make sure you also deleted the good confidence registries shown

then restart pc
