Windows 11 installation

Hello everyone,

I am in the process of switching from Ubuntu to Windows 11. During installation, I encountered the following error:
"Setup does not support configuration of or installation to disks connected through a USB or IEEE 1394 port."

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

I see.. asus..

Boot into bios..and disable vmd controller...and save bios settings...

Then recheck!...

Thank you so much, Camellia! Disabling the VMD controller in BIOS worked perfectly. I'd been stuck with this error for two days, and your advice solved it!

After installing Windows 11, will I be able to enable the VMD controller?
( when i enable the VMD controller, encounter an issue. Could you clarify what error message or behavior appears on the screen?)

Dont enable vmd controller....keep it disabled..

You dont need it..
