My computer got remote accessed, I saw my mouse being controlled and words being typed without my control, what should I do. And this isn’t some sort of mechanical malfunction, the mouse deliberately hovered over my YouTube profile and signed out then opened a new tab, typed some stuff and went into my account on google. I first experienced this issue yesterday, (I got signed out of my Google account and was forced to change my password) I did not catch the remote access in act but I did today, when I typically would’ve been sleeping but stayed a bit later and noticed some unusual stuff on the screen in the corner of my eye.

So far I’ve disabled remote access in control panel, and deleted some recent files I installed which were suspicious but I still followed through and installed them, in hindsight I shouldn’t have. I’m ran a virus scan, it flagged some files which I removed.
I have also disabled the Wi-Fi.
Going to bed rn, hope my PC doesn’t get screwed up when I wake up.
well in such cases of malware, if u really want to be 100% safe, the best bet would be to pray that you have a file system backup already and then just clean installing windows from scratch
Fully erase your computer completely and reinstall everything.
I wrote a guide about how here: https://cmdrkeene.com/how-to-really-reset-your-pc/
Yea but that’s a last resort option isn’t it
It's usually the only way to ever get the system both clean and working fully properly again and now you're not infected continuously ongoing
