it may not be possible to recover the files if you weren't making regular backups or using a tool that does it for you like OneDrive or Google Drive
are you able to open the drive in your File Explorer to see the contents?
well i can't find those sections
it'd be inside the \users folder of the old drive, but if you can't locate them the files will be lost forever
Recovery of data from a drive without having backups ahead of time can cost tens of thousands of dollars and take many years by specialists, if ever possible at all
now it is spinning all i have to do is put them in one massive folder then look at it later
now is say i need to be an admin to view it
do u know how to get around this

it'll give you this option to 'take ownership' of that folder
in theory it does the same thing but this really runs it through powershell and will probably work where explorer gets stuck
