This is one of the use cases where DISM and SFC can help, try using these commands in Command Prompt or Powershell as admin:
sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealt

it's likely a server side switch honestly, might possibly MAYBE be something you could switch with something like https://msft.chat/wiki/windows-feature-store.html but I doubt it, and i wouldn't recommend it anyway

i don't think there's any real options here beyond those you've already taken, or waiting for your system to get the switch to the new UI
