Move the file in the middle to one of the sides and then make it that the sides fill the whole screen from top to bottom
i kinda like it one side on one side
One side on one side? could you please clarify? If you meant move it to one side, that wasn't what i was saying, i was just saying mby to organise it a little more and get rid of the empty spaces and the extra icon in the middle
like files on one side and and another area for another files
i deleted that o ne in the middle
oh ok, i didn't notice that, thats actually pretty cool that you've separated them based on what they are and not just have them sorted randomly
and the background is the tribute to the old house computer that is long from dead forever
since we had a old computer that is long dead
now i got to deal with trying to solve adware
nice, very cool that it has lore
Ublock origin & adguard dns to the rescue
yeah we still got the old computer
it last screen was a BSOD
that ended it
That was a blue screen of death for real, not a temporary one
yea after that one it just stoped running that when we knew it was to old
It had great fps because sometimes i would do plants vs zombies on it
how old was it?
it lived longer than this pc
damn, what was its specs?
we dont know
this pc is currently like 4
oh nice, my laptop is also about 4
most pcs live till like 5
some live till 8
so that means my pc might have its end in 2025 since microsoft wont release any security updates in 2025 on august
ya well my laptop has already started having screen issues now, which is a pity, will have to take it in for repairs sometime
It doesn't support 11? That's a pity, you could try linux if you're willing to get technical
my pc does not support windows 11 yet
since i still have to get TPM 2.0
hopefuly they fix cursed updates soon like KB5034441
My dad's old laptop lasted i think it was 11 years before he replaced, he replaced it cause of win 10's end of support and that it was waaay too slow, like taking 15mins to turn on (old hard drive & 2nd gen i5)
thats a pity, they are gonna kill so many devices like that because of those crazy high requirements
my pc was installed on 1/โ7/โ2021
what processor?
AMD RYZEN 5 3600 6 core processor
its so decent for gaming
That does support firmware TPM, you just need to enable it in your UEFI settings
I know it does i was told that alot
Why don't you enable it then? Prefer windows 10?
dont know how to
I been told its in your motha board
i can help, do you know what motherboard you have?
nope
dont know
plus i dont have a phone
I am getting one for my b-day
mabye
if my dad lets me since he said 0 - 100$ range for one
not even the brand? no secondary device at all? Jeez ok ya I can see how that can make it difficult to enable it
Wait, it is in System Information, can you screen shot on the right they rows where it says system manufacturer and model
ok so you have a gigabyte motherboard
that what system info said
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPzjKnjDUBo try this video, it should be like this for your system and this should be how you enable it, if you want to try
If you're trying to install Windows 11 on an AMD Ryzen CPU system with a gigabyte motherboard and the PC Health Check is telling you that your PC does not meet system requirements due to no TPM support then this is how you can easily enable it on your bios settings. You may want to purchase a dedicated hardware TPM module however this is an alte...
Write down on a piece of paper:
- Shut down
- Spam press del key when turning on
- Use mouse to click on Peripherals in the top bar (should open up a new page & should see AMD CPU fTPM)
- Then click on the Disabled on the right of AMD CPU fTPM
- Then click on Enabled (top option)
- Then click on Save & Exit (last option) in the top bar (should go to a new page)
- Then click on Save & Exit Setup (top option)
- Then click on Yes (Left option)
And then it should boot back into windows with it on
why not advance startup
Oh you could also use advance startup, i forgot about that, thats definitely easier
should it just reboot
after you click save and exit? yes
nice! now check if you can get windows 11
bro my heart was beating so fast like thats my first time visiting my mother board
Awesome! Now u can get windows 11 and you don't have to get a new computer
Ya, I remember the first time I went into my laptop's UEFI, my heart was also going crazy, I thought I would have a heart attack
bro i just ran in my bedroom and layed flat on the bed while my puppy was sleeping on there
Hmm...Probably just needs to be refreshed, let the other update install and then restart your computer and check again
someone sent me a link that will help with it
Oh ok, otherwise you can always just use the windows upgrade assistant from this page: https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11
ima wait
till the support ends
k, well at least now you can upgrade and continue using your computer after support ends
yea
i need that support for a 0 iq person like me
ur not dumb, you are better than many people who couldn't even do what you just did
awesome!
i recommend treesizefree to help find what files are taking up space
ima do a MRT scan with a deeper scan
.,
then im gonna fix my pc more
so we get gamer speed
And then using the compress this folder/file option in the advanced popup in the properties panel
how i get to that
that allows u to get more space without deleting anything, with basically no performance impact
do i need to do Control pannel ----> properties
you click on the folder or file you want to make take up less space, and then right click on it and press properties or click on it and press alt+enter and then that page should pop up, in file explorer not control panel
oh i dont do folders for my stuff
@humble zenith how do i fix KB5028997
But you can do the folders your games are in like steam, or you can do each file individualy
do you know how to fix KB5028997
didnt work
I think microsoft is gonna release an update to fix it
Run this script by right clicking it and clicking on run with powershell, and it should work, if not try running it as administrator
didnt work
I did a little bit of research and it looks like if it still fails after that then you need to do an inplace upgrade, on the link i have replyed to, i think the windows upgrade assistant should work but im not too sure since this is a very uncommen problem
so when i upgrade i t should fix
i think so, im not sure tho
hopefuly i get beter frames with the update
just hopefuly
unlikely that it'll make much if any difference
I notice that my drivers app is not working
AMD radeon software
what's wrong with it, like is it just not opening?
yea
Try uninstall it and reinstall it
eh not important
Ya, windows update handles amd drivers so it doesn't really matter unless you want some of the features it offers
i feel like i should install a secuirty extension like this https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/online-security/jcpgbnbdnakoblgfkbgggankeidkfcdl?aflt=74
Make Microsoft Edge your own with extensions that help you personalize the browser and be more productive.
Don't get a security extension like that rather get a program called malwarebytes, things like the one you suggested aren't commenly known and tend to actually make your security worse and known apps like malwarebytes (free) can help your security but really windows defender already does a very good so anything extra is not really needed
i got rav antivirus
that my pc came with
Nice!
๐
Enjoy the speed of Windows 11 mate
wait its slow
disable copilot
bro just arrived
