https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows11
followed these steps
did all of these steps nothing helped
first the app gave me blue screens when I had the xbox pass for a while and now its not even opening
Like I did not even mess with this app for like one year
after everything you've done, I'd try a windows repair: https://cmdrkeene.com/repair
-
run media tool, get ISO file (no USB needed, this isn't a reinstall or reset)
-
open ISO and run setup.exe
-
Choose "keep everything" and next
(insiders have a one-click button for it but the above process is the same for all versions of Windows since Windows NT in 1994)
I did that too
Im still on win 10
mybe something with that?
no it should work the same in 10 for this repair, just using the 10 version of the file instead
I was referring to the xbox app since I already did the repair
this repair I sent is entirely different
you didn't do it I bet
but if it doesn't work, after everything you've done... you're probably looking at a clean install of the entire OS.
But I would strongly recommend the repair first.
it has no loss or downside to try it, and only takes 15-20 minutes
guess reinstall is my only chance then xd
yeah you're at the end of the line if all that fails
there's virtually zero chance of outside resolution
any way to reinstall the OS with keeping all the files?
you can keep some files, although it's better to backup files separately for true security/safety
I store all 800 GB of my files in OneDrive for about $4.60 a month, but Google will give you 15 GB for free
if you wish to reinstall and just have all current files dumped into a ".old" folder, it's basically reinstalling without ever doing any formatting/delete of partitions, but otherwise the same as https://go.cmdrkeene.com/cleaninstall
but a true backup copy is always going to be better
Ah ok
