Installed windows on my Harddrive then installed arch on my ssd. Wanted to switch back to windows and it’s gone

sorry!... I dont use arch linux but.. pretty sure there are commands to set the dual boot entry ...but first boot into your HDD..using your bios...and check if fast startup is enabled or not!

thats a problem... but if you think your windows is not corrupted...and is able to boot... then you can first try to fix boot partition of windows...which will require a windows bootable usb....

So why weren’t the boot files created originally

because it may have been created onto ...SSD?... never install windows when other drives with windows is connected....sometimes windows installer uses other partitions ..instead of creating a new one...
