wondering if anyone can help with my pc not updating.

i only want help as longs as i wont be dismissed by the person's insistence on a clean install as the only solution for my PC update issue. I wish they had taken the time to understand my problem and guided me through alternative troubleshooting steps that could address the issue without resorting to a drastic measure like a clean install. Anyway. i have been having the problem for a few months now where i cant seem to update my pc and it just tells me that there has been a problem and that my pc is reverting changes. any help other than telling me to clean install would be helpful.

We deem it as necessary, there's no magic solution here. When 2 experienced people give you the same opinion and you brush it off, it doesn't reflect good on you. Here are your options:

1. Do the necessary backups & clean install
2. Find a local technician & pay for the service
3. Look for other communities that will give you the same answers

You'll need to do a clean install using a USB stick.

You will need to create the USB stick using some other working computer, not the one that's having the issue
