Hello so i have another post about kind of my issue but i uninstalled call of duty,i have a few apps on my pc,everything is deleted on it like the default apps n things when i uninstalled the call of duty i remained with 388gb https://discord.com/channels/150662382874525696/1226637117044555907 its my other post more info here idk how to explain im stupid at it im sorry i hope someone is considering helping me 😦 my disk is 476gb i have only 388 free no games installed, only:spotify, firefox, steam, gforce experience, malwarebytes (anti virus) and cloudfare warp (vpn),it might be some kind of malware considering i have played so with hacks but malware bytes its on its premium trial and i ran full pc scan everyday and i see no detections....

https://github.com/AstraaDev/Discord-All-Tools-In-One my brother ran this
hes stupid
he told me it didnt work but it installed some kind of file n shit
idk i think it the codes
not sure tho
that script is gross (and breaks discord tos) but it probably isn't the cause of your storage concerns
someone in your other thread recommended using WinDirStat to look around for what's eating your storage, i would recommend using that or WizTree (it does the same thing, it's just a bit faster)
my guess is you created a VM in Hyper-V but the disk image wasn't deleted when you deleted the VM
There is no way to delete it now right?
Ik my brother thinks hes some hacking shit im tired of his tomfoolery
you can, i responded in your other thread but i will copy it here also:
yes, if the VM isn't running there are no hardware resources allocated to it (aside from storage / disk space, but you can delete the virtual disk to restore that)
they are stored under
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Virtual hard disksi believe
@barren kiln how do i find program data
nmv
nvm
i did
i did
what do i need to find in there
why i have this much shit on my pc bruh
Microsoft > Windows > Virtual hard disks
then it may be under Hyper-V > Virtual hard disks instead
then i think it's a fair to assume that the files have been deleted, assuming you're looking in the right folder
://////////////////////////////////////////////
be sure you aren't under Program Files or Program Files (x86) but ProgramData
and from this folder if you open Microsoft, then Windows, you don't see Hyper-V or Virtual Hard Disks?
guess it's already gone then
oh, these have nothing to do with ram, virtual hard disks would take up storage space
maybe cuz that?
but
dosent virtual machines alocate ram n shit?
arent them ram and cores gone too
yes, but if your vms are not running (they are not if you've removed Hyper-V), they do not use resources as i stated earlier
additionally, you can see what is using your resources under the Processes tab of Task Manager—if you click the tabs it will sort by usage
i did see yorii's comment about that, but that doesn't make it malware. whatever might be left behind when you remove it will not harm or impact your computer
and i am sure there is a notice in microsoft documentation about that somewhere if it's true
with 1 game installed
and 388 with only apps
(0 apps)
wonder were are the 88 gigs
or less
cuz windows takes space
but this much>?
holy shit
the "machine virtualization layer" that yorii was talking about has nothing to do with storage space, and once you delete Hyper-V and all of your vms, you should get that storage back
you didn't what? delete the vms? you have just shown me that the virtual hard disks do not exist on your system, and those are what take up the storage
as myself and others have suggested in your two threads, use a program like WinDirStat or WizTree to see what is using your storage
open up one of them and sort by size. that'll show you the largest files on your computer. send a screenshot and i can try to help point out which files are important
alr i done installed it
huh?
it's still scanning, wait for it to finish (i believe the green bar at the bottom will disappear when it's done? it's been a little while since i've used WDS)
right, so you've got a lot under Program Files (x86)—if you click the + next to it it'll expand and show you the folders inside of it
yeah so if your game is roughly 150 GB this checks out
the other 88 GB of files are a mix of system files, your personal files, and files belonging to other apps on your computer—it all looks relatively normal to me
yea butt
what other files
i stil dont know why like 13 gigs are missing cuz of hyper v 🔥
13, huh? out of curiosity, expand the ProgramData folder here?
it depends. some apps (like browsers, Discord) have caches. cache is temporary data stored to make some apps work faster. it's recreated as needed, so deleting it will only free up space temporarily in most cases.
your Users folder is 14 GB, so you probably have a good amount of personal files on the computer too (or perhaps someone else does if other people use this computer too).
it dosent
anymore
thats the point
and its clean windows
or someone else.........
what the fu
appdeta
uea
is this alright>?
fucking nvidia
alr i think i might have a fuckin rat on my pc
remote acess trojan
what makes you think that?
playing with fuckin csgo hacks
the same my friend did
and his pc got fked in the ass
litreally
he woke up overnight
of some russian guy sending tickets
to his account
and the bad russian guy reseted his hwid on a account
and setn up 2fa
😭
those screenshots look normal to me, but if you suspect you have malware then you might want to consider reinstalling Windows
naa
its ko
i got malwarebytes
also
the app
that
is prob the rat
is called exloader
and it made me install opera
and i uninstalled
it
(everytime i restart my pc or some,an opera folder appears in my run>appdata)
and its uninstalled
malware usually can't just be defeated by clicking uninstall, but it depends
+the app is some russian
thats why i got malwarebytes
idk if process hacker works
for finding out the rat
or sum
btw all those files are gone
right, so if you think malwarebytes can/has handled everything then that's fine—but if you continue to suspect that you have a RAT or some other form of malware, my recommendation is to reinstall Windows
how can i
even suspect that
i check my email every 10 minutes
i mean
if i had a rat
the hacker would seen my card
i used my card to buy nba
like
the whole shit
pin
security hsit
😭
so uh
should i delete
the
one
from windows + r
aka run
ones*
im not sure what you mean
Yo
I need ur help again
Not about tech or sum fw
So my friend make tiktok lives
Long story i got banned and someone keeps using fake accounts to get in that server
(its not me)
The fuck do i do
that's not something we can help with here i'm afraid
well i can tell you right now that its not related to hyper-v
im not entirely sure what you mean, but you have shown me that the hyper-v files do not exist on your computer
how can they be taking up space if they don't exist?
How the fuck should i know
the answer is they can't be
hm
