Windows 11 lagging when using apps

for some reason windows 11 freezes randomly for like 5 secone everytime i try using any app (except gaming) i have all drivers installed and stuff (i think it is becuz of drivers) and it just freezes, annoying as shit

but it sometimes lagged when i just moved my cursor

occasional lag is expected when you start an app...sometimes.. but if it continues to lag while you use the app...then thats a different matter...whats your pc specification?...

since its AMD setup...it could also be a buggy driver.... mostly a GPU driver....

Yep!... a random freeze can be anything...I would blame the gpu driver ..first...if the firmware is up-to-date!

i mean, i have way worse issues on linux which is why i switched to windows

i install ventoy on usb and put windows iso on it

which is the easiest way of installing windows from linux without using vms

check if gpu profile... has standard/balanced mode... set it...then restart your pc..and test

ok it started lagging and when it starts it makes my laptop coolers spin

and when it happens, minecraft cant allocate heap so it looks like a ram issue

it looks like windows doesnt allow some allocations to ram which makes it lag

the system for some reason uses 97% of my ram

which doesnt show anywhere

something invisible keeps eating ram

oh wait it was the java program so nvm

so it allocated memory but still crashed
