- If an update file is corrupted, it may prevent successful installation.
How to solve it then?
This is laptop
Wait do I need to delete the corrupted files?
yes
Last month, my windows update failed
If your download is somehow corrupted when downloading the latest updates, you can redownload the file by doing the following.
Remove the folder C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Temp\X-Win32AutoUpdate.
Start Internet Explorer.
Click on Tools > Internet Options.
Click the Delete Files button.
Start X-Win32.
first check if that folder has corrupted files or not.
if not then incomplete installation or interrupted installations can also lead to these issues. but in this case I think your laptop has corrupted files which are causing this problem...
How about if I only do this: Delete C\windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download
Then wait until the windows update comes up on my taskbar
And try windows update again
ok
I am afraid if it does not work, I have to press Windows + X + Power
It can potentially damage the SSD cause I don't shutdown the laptop properly
so that is why, try doing this
Okay
I will try it later
Thank you, If anything happens, can I DM you?
ok
I checked my c and there are no these options
