Do you have a question or are you just making a statement?

Trying to get past this it’s not letting click next

burnt saddle
#

it clearly states why you can't click next
so i assume you want to install windows 11 despite not meeting the requirements?

formal talon
#

Yes

burnt saddle
#

Well, depending on your PC specs, you'll either need to modify the ISO before attempting to install windows 11 or change some settings to be able to install windows 11

I need help using rufus because the regular media tool doesn’t work

burnt saddle
#

right, that doesn't make any progress on my previous statement but continuing down that trail, What issue do you run into when using the media creation tool?

formal talon
#

The picture that I sent

burnt saddle
#

That is the expected behaviour - lets loop back to my statement about the ways to progress
what are the specs of your PC?

2070 ti i5 9600k

So CPU isn't an issue
i assume you have more than 4GBs of ram so that isn't an issue
unlikely you don't have more than 64GBs of storage so that isn't an issue
would be a surprise if your motherboard didn't have a UEFI
TPM could be missing but your CPU supports firmware TPM so another non-issue

and thats about it for the minimum requirements therefore it is probably down to user error when configuring your settings

#

go into your UEFI and ensure your settings are correct, PTT is enabled if you don't have a dedicated TPM etc

formal talon
#

What do I do here

#

Just need to bypass the error with Rufus

burnt saddle
#

Why bypass the requirements when your PC meets them?

formal talon
#

Hi this is his friend talking now. I had the same issue on my pc and I used this server for help. They gave me a simple way to not deal with any of these errors, I’m pretty sure it was rufus?

#

Good pc, no user errors. Period

#

Just how it is

burnt saddle
#

Rufus is an option but there is no point bypassing the requirements when the PC meets them

formal talon
#

We have to bypass. That’s just how it is

burnt saddle
#

No you don't
did you not read my previous message?

formal talon
#

Yes

burnt saddle
#

Your PC meets the minimum requirements, it is just misconfigured

#

you literally need to go into the bios and enable one or two settings

formal talon
#

We want to bypass, would greatly appreciate you helping us bypass

#

Will check bios now

burnt saddle
#

take in mind bypassing the requirements may cause issues in the future or currently depending on what software you use / games you play

Disable CSM, enable PTT if you don't have a dedicated TPM

formal talon
#

What if I’m not sure if I have a dedicated tpm

#

I disabled CSM

burnt saddle
#

No harm in enabling PTT if you have a dedicated TPM

formal talon
#

Okay where can I find pry

#

Ptt*

#

Nvm got it

#

Enabled it

#

Give me a few min to re try. Need to do a quick creation tool cause I deleted the last one

burnt saddle
#

Your pc might now meet the minimum requirements, if it doesn't - id suggest using a tool like WhyNotWin11 to check if anything else is misconfigured

formal talon
#

Ngl if it still doesn’t meet we bypassing

#

I’ll lyk tho thanks bro

burnt saddle
#

that is your choice but as i said bypassing the requirements may cause issues in the future or currently depending on what software you use / games you play

formal talon
#

Totally fine with that

formal talon
#

Ok media tool is done gonna try again I’ll let u know

#

@burnt saddle it’s working now. Appreciate u

#

Do I need to go back into bios when I’m done and change those 2 settings back or can I just leave them?

burnt saddle
#

just leave them be, once windows is installed you're good to go

formal talon
#

Thanks

formal talon
#

Been looking at this for an alarming amount of time imo

#

Been maybe 15-20 min

#

Maybe even 30 idk

#
