no. "bad sectors" are literally platter's defect.
get ready to buy new hard disk/storage device.
Bro tell me one this installing custom os like ghost spectre, tiny os are safe
Is they are secure and has privacy???
They aren’t legal
And they certainly bring up security issues when you can’t install a security patch due to removed or disabled components
Is they r safe
Did you miss my last message?
As far as you're aware, you could obtain this illegal ISO from someone other than the person who modified it and it very well could contain malware
even the person who originally modified it and distributes it could add malware to it albeit at the risk of their reputation
ontop of the issue i mentioned above about lack of security update - there are a lot of safety concern
it means Microsoft releasing patches to existing exploits and variabilities
Is there any software to detect the bad sectors in a ssd
Bro but I discussed with the members in those community they are telling there is no malware. They are told they checked by monitoring and told no background process are there.
You missed my point, that aside, it is still illegal - i'm not going to entertain a conversation relating to it
Mm
...
Is there any software bro
SSDs don't have bad sectors in the same sense HDDs will have bad sectors
i'd suggest just using a tool like crystakdiskinfo to get a high level view of the drives health
the one shown is a hard disk though.
Windows can scan/test/mark bad sectors using the /f /r flag.
@woeful field @stiff monolith Bro can we use hdd of PC to view or store files
If yes, how to connect them??
your question is too ambiguous
there is no reason why you shouldn't already be able to use the HDD of your PC to view and store files but i assume missing details or context are required to understand your actual issue / query
I wouldnt recommend storing your important files on a failing HDD
^^ if the drive in question is the one in the original image i'd highly recommend listening to the advice above
No no. Bro I have 2 extra hdd of PC with no use.
So is there is any method or tool to view or store some files as a extra storage??
Purpose is Just to store some files
You want to store extra files on the failing HDD?
Or are you asking if you can still use your 2 other hdds?
there are many methods to store files on the additional drives however you're lacking details
if the other drives aren't currently in another PC you can't use any kind of network protocol like ftp to move files around so you're left with physically attaching them to the device you want to move files from
depending on the size of the other HDDs and the specifications of the device you want to move files from you may be able to add one of the extra drives into the device otherwise you'll likely need a USB to sata adapter / an external HDD caddy to hold and interface with the drive
No it's a healthy hdd
As I am not using PC I thought to took it
Bro and one another thing
I have an issue in updating
