#user folder

first just open your ghobi user folder and either check if Desktop folder is there or if not, create one named Desktop.
Then open registry editor, go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders in the address bar, and set the Desktop value to be equal to %USERPROFILE%\Desktop like this example (except mine in the screenshot has OneDrive in there and it sounds like you don't want that)
Has answer
The person with the same question lol
You're smart enough to understand the same solution for your case though
Read the original more carefully
It's under windows next then current version
Not under Microsoft
Once you set it correctly there, make sure the folder exists (there's a folder named desktop where you set it to be) then restart
Yes
it worked more or less, now my user folder is inside the desktop (?)
Nah that's your user folder it just shows the wrong name. Do this for me...
Right click a blank place there and choose to open the command prompt at that location
Then type delete desktop.ini then hit enter and finally log out and back in
Relates to https://cmdrkeene.com/change
Maybe language differences...hmm
delete is not recognized as an internal or external command, an operable program or a batch file
Maybe del desktop.ini perhaps
C:\Users\luizao>del desktop.ini
Could not find C:\Users\luizao\desktop.ini
um
