Your pc specs?...
Gtx 1650
AMD Ryzen 5 4600H Radeon Graphs
8 go RAM
Anything else?
Your RAM is good but check the CPU requirement. Better install Windows 11. 10 will reach end of life in 2025 and it's almost 2024
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/windows-processor-requirements
There won’t be windows 10 in. 2025 is that what you mean?
It will be supported for Enterprises
You should always use the latest version of any OS, whether it's mobile or desktop
lots of new productivity and security features
I understand.... But i wanted to know if my pc would run better on windows 10 tho? I mean i could just make it windows 10 and then at the end of 2024 i can just make it windows 11 again yeah?
I've had windows 11 for a while now and to be honest i've head better experience with my last windows 10 pc
so thats why i wanted to ask
if my pc runs better on windows 10 than windows 11
Yea if it runs better on 10 do it make sure you update to 11 by the time it is reached its end of support
i got hp
the problem is idk if my pc would run better on windows 10 tho
10 is better
this my specs
Your CPU is officially suppoted by Windows 11 tho
is it supported by windows 10 tho?
Yeah
windows 11 got lotta problems
if it's suppoted by 11 it's definitely supported by 10
No? like what ?
my disk be runnin 100 percent these days
and i asked someone in server
they said its a windows thing
they were Window engineers ?
so should i change to 10?
no,when i turen my pc on it buggs alot for like 10 min cuz disk is 100 % but after 10 mins it fixes
i'on know where do i see?
Settings -> System -> Storage -> Advanced Storage settings -> Disks & Volumes
Select Properties on the disk
Nice
is good?
Yes it's NVME too
Non-Volatile Memory Express
yeah!
i wouldn't recommend it..
is your Windows up to date?
yes
it is... however windows 11 got a lot of bugs
thats why i want to get windows 10 for now n prolly get windows 11 like 2024
Nope!..
Your cpu is officially supported by windows 11...
Anyways...if you want to stay with 10...you can!..
But if you decide to use 11...
I would suggest a clean install instead of upgrading through windows update!..
i am on windows 11 already, if i get windows 10 would my pc run faster or like bug more? or would it just be the same
Is windows 11 having issues right now?.. With your laptop?..
Because there is virtually... minimal to zero difference in terms of performance... specially gaming...
Yesterday i had an issue where i couldnt log in my pc because it said: ''An app from store is required to do this action'' so i couldnt even get on my pc yesterday so today i had to reset my pc so it would work and whenever i turn my pc on my disk is on 100 percent
Using hdd or ssd?...
i got ssd
An ssd usually dont have 100% disk usage issue....
Anyways...I would suggest a clean install..since you already did a reset..
To eliminate all bugs or issues...you are currently facing!..
how do i do a clean install?
Via bootable usb..
Clean install means you will be...wiping the c partition...
uhhhhh you got any tutorial for that pls?
While you create the usb...
Download all drivers for your laptop...from the official OEM site...of your laptop!..
should i get windows 10 tho?
Windows 11 is fine...
Windows reset was never an ideal option to being with...
It usually causes more issues...than it solves...like the one you are currently having..
i had this problem since 3 days ago
yesterday it made my pc bug alot and when i launched discord my pc froze
i waited 10 minutes for it to fix but nothing happened so i shut it down with power button
i've had 100 percent disk usage for like 3 days tho
Common issue with 11 are performance issues
I have never heard of this
yeah
..
it's very bad
i just launched rocket league and it crashed
i relaunched it and now its working
but yeah
smh
disk on 100 percent is crazy tho
go to task manager and order them by disk usage, see what is consuming the most
i had 0 performance issue with Windows 11 and on one of my PCs i even have unsupported hardware, i7 7700k
You sure thats ssd?...
Check the disk health... Using crystaldiskinfo software!..
yeah it is
Same
Crazy
you have been told multiple times to... check with crystaldiskinfo software!...
Is that an app?
yep!
