Where do you get that ISO from?
Yes, I was trying to delete the partition
Also tried to delete the partition with the diskpart program but it didn't work
I wish I could have the 465 GB capacity I had on the main drive again : (
Lookup popos or ubuntu, and you have to download the .iso, then download a program like rufus and flash a udb drive (erase) it, then you can boot your computer to the bios, disable secure boot if its enabled, then change boot order and put usb drive above hdd or ssd or hardrive or anything, then reboot with usb plugged in
It should boot to the ubuntu or popos installer, here select the try button, then find a program called parted or gaprted
Find your disk, and remove just that partition
Before continuing, make sure you did the tight one, then click on the apply button
Then unplug the usb after turning off
Reboot and you should be good
So I can delete partitions in any Linux distribution without installing the operating system?
One question, can the parted or gparted program be found on Linuxmint without having to install the operating system?
Ye that too, i just didbt suggest it
And you can install programs without installing linux, so just in memory on the computer on most distros
I had the USB saved with the Linuxmint boot but I already formatted it, I will try again with rufus to save with that and I hope I don't have any errors
ye 🙂
With Linux Lite can I also find the parted or gparted program without having to install the operating system?
not sure lol, I just use ubuntu or pop most of the time (or non gui based ones, but dont wana explain that rn)
prob its based on ubuntu
@unique meadow Is it possible to stay with Windows 8.1 for a long time? Because I am not planning to upgrade to Windows 10 or Windows 11
it is; but not ideal as its way out of date and recives no updates
Ok
I am on Pop OS with a pendrive, how to delete the partitions in Gparted?
@unique meadow I solved it, thank you very much I just had to delete the fat32 system partition to be able to delete the extended partition in GParted, then I returned to Windows, extended the main disk and recovered my 465 GB capacity, thank you very much indeed
