#Remote Desktop Crashes almost immediately after logging on

Hi. Whenever I try to connect to my desktop (running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Edition) using my laptop (running Windows 11 Pro x64 Edition) through Windows Remote Desktop, the connection starts to establish, but then the remote desktop window closes after 2 seconds. The whole app does not crash, as the window with the computer connection settings remains open. When I start the connection and log on, a new window pops up, flickers between a black and blue screen, and then closes. I've checked event viewer and can't find any logs relating to the issue. I've checked both computers, and both are setup to be able to use remote desktop.

Thanks in advance for any support!

Hello. Have you tried connecting from another device?

#

Ex.: Using RDP client on Android or iOS

Yes. I Just did. And sadly, it does not work. I followed this tutorial to allow connections: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VifbVh-tY_8.
But, I don't know what would be causing it to deny connections, as no error messages pop up on my phone or my computer. The app just straight up crashes. On my phone, a cursor briefly appeared on a black screen, but it ended the same way it did on the computer.

Learn how to set a remote desktop session between two computers. Follow this tutorial to learn how to adjust the remote settings.

It doesn't return error messages, on "System" Event Viewer Category, there's nothing related to RDP too?

#

One thing you could try, it helped me once, updating your graphics driver on the RDP host (Windows 7 machine)
